The templates are in black and white, designed to be printed on your choice of coloured paper. Heavy cardstock is ideal for durability — the numbers will stand up better and hold their shape longer.

How to make the 3D numbers

1. Print on your chosen coloured paper. Cut the solid outlines first, then score all the dotted lines firmly with an empty ballpoint pen to make clean folds.

2. Glue the side tabs together first. Then attach the extra side strips to the remaining tabs — take care to match each strip to the correct position.

3. Adding the back panel is optional but recommended — it helps keep the number's shape straight and makes it more sturdy for display.
